Thursday Night Scouts is one of two Scout troops at 115th Ballinteer, with 30 members aged 12–15.
Thursday nights run alongside Thursday Cubs and BVG Ventures, making it one of the busiest evenings at the den. Scouts dig into real outdoor skills: patrol work, navigation, camps and hikes on the Dublin Mountains, all planned and run by the Scouts themselves.

Thursday evenings cover patrol activities, badge work, skills training and planning for camps and expeditions. Out of the den, TNS hikes the Dublin Mountains, takes on night walks and goes on multi-day camps that members help organise themselves. The annual Group Camp brings all sections together.
