Monday Night Cubs is one of two Cub packs at 115th Ballinteer, with 25 members aged 9–11.
Cubs is where young people start to explore the wider world of scouting. Monday nights give members a longer session than Beavers to get into more ambitious activities: team challenges, camp skills, map reading, badge work and trips out. Moving on from Beavers or joining fresh, Cubs is where confidence really builds.
MNC is led by Orin (Section Leader), Darragh, Anthony, Jack, Isabelle and Karen. For any questions, speak to a leader at drop-off or collection, or see group contact.
A typical Monday evening includes a roll call, games, badge work and a team or outdoor activity. Over the year Cubs go on day trips, take part in sleepovers, learn camp cooking and knots, and take on challenges that build the skills they'll use in Scouts. The Group Camp brings all sections together.
