Thursday Night Cubs is one of two Cub packs at 115th Ballinteer, with 28 members aged 9–11.
Cubs is where young people start to explore the wider world of scouting. Thursday nights give members a longer session to get into more ambitious activities: team challenges, camp skills, map reading, badge work and trips out. TNC runs on the same night as Thursday Scouts and BVG Ventures, making it one of the busiest evenings at the den.
TNC is led by Billy (Section Leader), Alison, Emily, Shane, Nathan and Conor. For any questions, speak to a leader at drop-off or collection, or see group contact.
A typical Thursday evening includes a roll call, games, badge work and a team or outdoor activity. Over the year Cubs go on day trips, take part in sleepovers, learn camp cooking and knots, and take on challenges that build the skills they'll need in Scouts. The Group Camp brings all sections together.
